What is an IPv6 Leak?

IPv6 is the next-generation internet protocol. If your internet provider assigns you both an IPv4 and IPv6 address, but your VPN client only encrypts and tunnels IPv4, your browser may route traffic over the unencrypted IPv6 interface instead, exposing your identity.
